1. Listen to talk radio and get informed! Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck for information plus entertainment. Dennis Prager for intellectual conservative talk.
2. Watch Fox News but don’t forget to compare to the main (or as Dick Morris now says: lame) stream media!
3. Cancel your subscription to that liberal newspaper (and don't forget to tell them why). Coupons are available online now, (which is the only valuable part of the papers!) Sign up for the free Wall Street Journal Best of the Web newsletter for essential daily reading at www.wsj.com
4. Be proud of your conservatism. By golly, you’re paying the taxes for about half of the country! Wear a Cool Conservative tee while out-and-about, post a quick thought on Facebook and Twitter, come out of the closet. You'll find you're not alone and as far as your liberal friends, it's about time they know what you really think!
5. This one goes without saying: Always do your homework and VOTE! And be sure to vote in local elections too. Liberal unions own these elections because they organize and they vote, conservatives can win these seats if we step off the sidelines. Don't know the candidates? Contact them and ask them questions. Remember these people work for us!
6. Program the phone numbers of your Senators and your Representative into your cell phone. (Look them up here.) Call their office every day while sitting in traffic, waiting in line at the coffee shop or while on the sidelines of your kids soccer game. Remember, Republican politicians need to hear from you too. (Just because they’re a Republican, doesn’t mean they’re a Conservative.) Tell them thanks when they are right, and let them know when they're wrong.
7. Give your money to CONSERVATIVE organizations like www.heritage.org just like charities, your donations are tax-deductible (until Obama changes that)
8. This Is Important: SPEAK UP! While conservatives by nature are polite, we've sat quiet for long enough! Be knowledgeable and courteous. Kill ‘em with kindness and drive those liberals crazy with the facts. Liberals base decisions on emotion and what sounds right. Conservatives base decisions on what is right.
Now Go Forth, Be Cool, and bring more women to the RIGHT way of thinking!
More Tips for the 2012 Election:
1. Become an Election Judge….Here in Minnesota, there were 17,000 more ballots than there were votes cast. Sound confusing? That’s what the liberals like! Our ACORN-endorsed Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, handed the seat to Al Franken, who became the deciding vote in this government takeover of our health care system. We MUST take back our elections from fraud and abuse. (Also, make sure to ask your local candidates if they support showing a PHOTO ID in order to vote.)
2. Become a citizen journalist…bring a camera with you everywhere, take pictures and share them via your own blog or Facebook. The media will make us out to look like “crazies”…if you see “crazies” ask who they are, don’t ever underestimate the tactics of the left and how far they will go to discredit this conservative movement.
3. The League of Women Voters is a highly liberal organization…they spent the last weeks of the government takeover of our health care system as mouth pieces for the Obama administration. Call them out! These are the women who host local debates and voter registration drives in our communities….they also receive tax-exempt donations. This fall, ask them why they’re such strong supporters for ObamaCare and Cap and Trade and why they still call themselves a non-partisan organization.
4. Identify Conservative Voters in your neighborhood. When you’re taking a walk with the dog, make a note if there’s a good bumper sticker or sign in the yard….then knock on their door and invite that person for coffee! We must connect and organize on the most grassroots level in order to take back this country. You will meet many new friends, if you just take a chance!
5. Research a Presidential Candidate and start volunteering for their campaign now! It will take a lot of work to unseat Obama and you can be a part of the team.
